Nutritious Toddler & Baby-Led Weaning Meal Plan: Easy, Healthy Recipes for All!
I created this one month-long list of meals with a specific person in mind—a parent trying to find multiple healthy meals to make for their toddler while introducing solids to a new baby for the first time while also using baby led weaning *cough* (me). However, anyone can benefit from this list, even if you're just looking for easy, healthy meals and snacks for yourself. The ingredients are nutritious and minimally processed, though you can and should substitute as needed to fit your specific lifestyle.
Each week, you'll find a shopping list to get started, followed by daily meal ideas. I started with meals for toddlers, and then provided a baby-led weaning (BLW) version of the same meal. Many of the meals from week to week are similar, which makes shopping more convenient. You can use leftover ingredients from one week in the next, reducing waste and saving money on your grocery trips.
This list is only to give you an idea and a basic outline for incorporating healthy eating, toddler meals, and BLW altogether and should not serve as more than that. Be mindful of any allergies and make substitutions accordingly. It's important to continue offering regular snacks, and drinks to your child and formula/breastmilk for babies under 1 year old. Also, many toddlers I know can be picky eaters, if they refuse one or more of these meals try to offer something that you know they like afterwards to ensure they're eating enough. Baby steps.
